Definitely my favourite character in all of Metal Gear, and probably my favourite character of all time, I love Kaz and never really shut up about him :D

Of course, part of the reason I love him so much is cuz he's just plain attractive lmfao. But really, his character has a lot of depth to it, and as a strong lover of tragic characters, Kaz is like perfect. The first time most people meet him is in MGS1 (he does appear in MG2 that was not most fans first game), when he's already dead. INCREDIBLE! And then Kaz remains dead for many years until the release of MGS: Peace Walker in 2010, 20 years after his first appearance and we get to know all about him and fall in love with him :) and watch him fall in love with Big Boss in turn.

Kaz really is doomed from the start and it's genuinely heart wrenching to watch him go through all his highs and lows with Big Boss, Venom and Ocelot, knowing how it all ends for him, but I love the journey regardless.

My favourite Kaz era is the 1970's, which is when Peace Walker takes place. He's mostly at his happiest here, at least the happiest we see him within canon, and I think his look is the best during this time too. I love a lot of his voice lines in Peace Walker, so if anyone happens to have the files lmk (I tried ripping them from my copy once but it was hard and I nearly got a virus so I've avoided that for now lol).
